Micky Marsden
Hi I’m Micky, proud co-founder of JaRo. My first role in HR at the University of Oxford back in 2010, was where I fell in love with the people profession and I’ve been building my knowledge across various sectors since. Outside of the world of HR I have a beautiful family and together we love to travel. Our aim is to never visit the same place twice, there is so much to explore!
CIPD qualified I have experience working across many sectors, from Care to Manufacturing. This has taught me how to adapt quickly and tailor my support to each individual Company. There is nothing I love more than providing creative solutions to any potential people problems. It is never one size fits all.
From me you will always receive jargon free clear advice, yes employment law is complicated but it is my job to ensure it’s straight forward for my clients. I wouldn’t describe myself as either a risk taker or risk adverse, I will guide you through each possible option and provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision.

Hi there, I am Louise (Lou to most who know me), alongside Micky I am co-founder of JaRo. Having worked in HR for 20 years its probably clear I love and believe in what I do.
Away from the excitement of HR, I live in Preston with my extremely active and energetic family, it’s not often you will find us sat inside!
CIPD qualified and having worked across most business sectors there is not much I have not come across. I don’t like jargon, lets keep it simple - straight talking all the way
